SecPay… Cannot find tid for this merchant no…
So I worked a little late last night for a friend of mine to integrate SecPay payment authorization into his website. The integration was relatively simple, but I kept getting the error “Cannot find tid for this merchant no” back from the service. I kept going back and forth through their documentation making sure that everything I was posting to their service was setup properly. Honestly it took 30 minutes of coding to setup.
Needless to say, I didn’t find any documentation nor did I find any sites that had very good information. Turns out the answer is simple. SecPay was not set to be live with the bank so this is the error that they return. There customer service was great for my friend… not so great for me the developer. I would still highly recommend them for UK customers. I have my own fun US partner for payment processing. =)
